Dahlias
Our Dahlias are a strikingly beautiful addition to any floral arrangement. Dahlias make excellent cut flowers. To maximize vase life, plunge freshly cut stems into hot water and let them cool before arranging.
Snapdragons
This stunning perennial features dense spires of blossoms that grow in a variety of colors. Before arranging, be sure to cut 1 to 2 inches off the stems at a 45-degree angle using sharp shears to maximize water absorption. For maximum vase life, change the water and re-cut the stems every 2 to 3 days.
Lavender
Lavender is a fragrant herb known for its silvery-green foliage and vibrant purple spikes. To keep fresh-cut lavender, display it in a vase with just a shallow layer of water and change the water daily, or hang small bundles upside down to dry and preserve them.
Marigolds
Marigolds are vibrant, aromatic, and characterized by their deeply divided, lacy foliage and colorful blooms in shades of yellow, orange, and red. To keep cut marigolds fresh for up to 10 days, immediately place them in warm water, strip away any foliage below the waterline, and change the water daily.
Celosia
Celosia flowers feature unique blooms that come in a variety of colors. To keep them fresh for up to 2 weeks, cut mature stems, strip most of the foliage, and place them in fresh, cool water.
Cosmos
Cosmos are daisy-like flowers with feathery foliage and colorful blooms. To maximize their vase life, cut 12- to 20-inch stems, strip the lower leaves, and place them immediately in water.
Sunflowers
Our sunflowers are a summertime staple in any vase or floral arrangement. To keep your cut sunflowers fresh for up to two weeks, strip submerged leaves, cut stems at a 45-degree angle, and change the water daily.
Zinnias
Our zinnias are a vibrant and bold addition to any arrangement. They are also beautiful by themselves in a vase. To keep them fresh after cutting, strip all the lower leaves, cut stems at a 45-degree angle, and place them in water.
