What’s Growing at Lively Grove Farms

Every season at Lively Grove Farms brings something new to pick. We grow a rotating selection of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers using pesticide-free, organic growing methods in Bolivia, North Carolina. Blueberries

Generally available: Late May – Early August

Our most beloved crop and the heart of Lively Grove Farms. We grow multiple varieties of blueberries and each one tastes sweet and is grown with organic methods.

$6/pound — Bring your own bucket, or buy one for $2

Blackberries

Generally available: Late June – July

Blackberry season, another fan favorite, overlaps with blueberries, making late June the perfect time to pick both in a single visit.

Peaches

Generally available: Mid July – Early September

We grow multiple varieties of peach trees which ripen starting July.

Champanel Grapes

Generally available: Early August – Early September

Champanel grapes are wonderful for juicing or making homemade jam, jelly and wine. Available late in the season, a perfect reason to come back one more time.

U-Pick Garden

Generally available: Late Spring – Summer

Our u-pick garden is new for 2026. We’ve always kept our own family garden here on the farm, and over the years our visitors were curious and wanting to pick. So this season, we opened it up. Our garden features tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, multiple types of herbs, watermelon, cantaloupe and flowers.
