Lively Grove Farms proudly offers guided farm tours for social groups, school groups, and homeschool co-ops throughout Brunswick County, NC. Our hands-on experiences give families, educators, and children the opportunity to connect with local farms and learn more about sustainable agriculture, pesticide-free growing practices, and where fresh food truly comes from. Whether your group is interested in strawberry picking, blueberry picking, blackberry picking, or exploring our seasonal produce farm, our tours provide a fun and educational experience for all ages.
Choose the farm tour experience that works best for your group:
Berry Basics — $5/participant
Enjoy a classic berry-picking experience at one of Brunswick County’s favorite U-pick farms. Children will learn the basics of strawberry picking, blueberry picking, or other seasonal fruit picking while harvesting their own pint of fresh berries to take home. Containers are included, and our team will provide a quick guide on how to pick the ripest, freshest berries.
Farm Education Tour — $10/participant
Perfect for school groups and local farm tours, this experience includes a 15-minute guided educational tour of our pesticide-free farm along with a pint of u-pick berries. Guests will learn about how we grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers while exploring one of the area’s most family-friendly fruit farms and blueberry farms. Containers are included.
Homeschool Special — $5/participant
Our most popular option for homeschool co-ops includes an engaging educational farm presentation followed by pick-your-own berries at $6 per pound. Depending on the season, groups may enjoy pick-your-own blueberries, u-pick blackberries, strawberry picking, or other berry picking opportunities. We encourage guests to bring their own bucket as part of our sustainability practices, or buckets are available for purchase for just $2.
At Lively Grove Farms, we grow strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, grapes, peaches, fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers, all pesticide-free and right here in Brunswick County, NC.
Our seasonal experiences include u-pick blueberries, pick-your-own vegetables, and pick-your-own flowers, making our local farm one of the area’s most unique destinations for fresh u-pick vegetables, u-pick flowers, and family-friendly outdoor experiences.
