Blueberry season is late May through early August on our farm. We grow multiple varieties of blueberries, and each one tastes sweet and is grown with organic methods. Come out to our blueberry farm in Brunswick County for u-pick blueberries this season!

Lively Grove Farms is not USDA-certified organic, and we have chosen not to pursue third-party certification. However, we proudly use organic growing methods that prioritize soil health, sustainability, and responsible stewardship of the land. Our fruits, vegetables, and flowers are grown organically using practices that exceed many of the requirements outlined in USDA organic standards. We maintain a pesticide-free and chemical-free growing environment whenever possible, allowing us to provide fresh, flavorful produce while remaining committed to natural and environmentally conscious farming practices.

At Lively Grove Farms, we follow organic growing practices and do our best to avoid sprays whenever possible. As a pesticide-free farm and chemical-free farm, we focus on regenerative methods that help us grow organically grown berries naturally. When visiting our blueberry farm in Brunswick County during blueberry picking season, you can feel confident about how your food is grown.

Reservations are not required to visit our blueberry farm. If you’re looking for a  a blueberry farm in Leland this blueberry season,  our farm is one of the favorite things to do for local families. We offer u-pick blueberries, u-pick produce, and u-pick flowers throughout the growing season.

Absolutely! As a part of our sustainable farming practices we encourage you to BYOB (bring your own bucket). If you forget to BYOB, you can purchase a bucket for $2.

U-pick prices for the 2026 season are as follows:

Blueberries & Blackberries: $6/pound
Peaches: $3/pound
Champanel Grapes: $1/pound

As part of our sustainable, pesticide-free growing practices, we encourage guests to bring their own buckets. You may purchase one on-site for $2.

We accept cash, major credit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay. We charge a 3% fee for all credit card payments.

Currently we have a port-a-john restroom available at the farm. In future years, we plan on building a Farm Stand with restrooms.

That sounds like fun! However, we strive to provide a serene farm experience where people can connect with nature. Instead of rides and attractions, visitors can enjoy picking fresh fruit straight from the field at our blueberry farm in Leland. Throughout the season, guests can enjoy u-pick blueberries, u-pick blackberries, and u-pick peaches while experiencing the beauty of the farm at their own pace.

Though we love our furry pets, animals are not allowed on the farm, with the exception of service animals. This rule exists to keep our berry fields clean and safe for consumption.
