Lively Grove Farms is a small, family-owned u-pick blueberry farm in Bolivia, North Carolina, rooted in nearly 200 years of combined farming heritage. Our family farm offers an authentic, welcoming experience grounded in tradition and community.
Owners Kelsey and Jeremy Smith established the farm in 2018 with the simple commitment to grow clean, pesticide-free crops using organic growing methods. As a pesticide-free local farm, we take pride in producing high-quality berries while caring for the land and environment. Visitors looking for an organically grown farm experience can enjoy fresh air, open fields, and responsibly grown produce.
Lively Grove Farms is a true multi-generational family operation, grown from the ground up with care. With a seasonal selection of u-pick blueberries, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, we invite you to spend the day harvesting straight from the vine.
We are currently closed for the 2026 Season. Check back in Spring 2027 for an announcement on Strawberry Season.
Lively Grove Farms is located between Highway 17 and 87, right along the route to Oak Island, Southport, and the Brunswick County beaches — approximately 20 minutes from Leland, 25 minutes from Wilmington, and 20 minutes from Oak Island.

Lively Grove Farms was recently featured by Discovering NC Agriculture, a statewide series that highlights North Carolina’s farmers, agricultural products, and the people who help feed our communities.
The article recognizes North Carolina as the 7th largest blueberry-producing state in the nation. It highlights Lively Grove Farms as we enter our fifth year of offering u-pick blueberries in Brunswick County. It also showcases our farm’s commitment to agricultural education through guided tours, school field trips, daycare visits, gardening club events, and hands-on agritourism experiences that teach visitors about regenerative, chemical-free farming practices.
