Apache

The Apache Blackberry is a highly productive, thornless variety developed by the University of Arkansas and is known for producing some of the largest, sweetest berries of any erect cultivar. They ripen in mid to late summer (June through August) and are extra-large with an excellent sweet flavor, making them perfect for eating fresh right off the bush, baking into cobblers and pies, or preserving as jams and jellies.

Natchez

The Natchez blackberry was developed by the University of Arkansas and is prized for producing exceptionally large, sweet berries very early in the season (June). This early-producing variety is very sweet and juicy, making it perfect for fresh snacking, baking (pies, cobblers), preserves, and freezing.

Ouachita

The Ouachita (pronounced wash-ih-taw) blackberry is highly prized for its exceptionally sweet, firm fruit. This blackberry is ready to harvest mid-season, typically ripening from mid-June through July. With medium-to-large, glossy black berries that are renowned for a rich, well-balanced sweet flavor, these berries are ideal for fresh eating, baking (like cobblers and pies), and making jams.

The Traveler blackberry is a popular variety that was originally developed by the University of Arkansas. Known for producing large, sweet fruit, it is prized for its remarkably firm berries and long shelf life. These blackberries are perfect for snacking, summer charcuterie boards, and baking in pies.

Caddo

This blackberry is highly prized for its large, sweet berries with exceptional aromatics and a long shelf life. The Caddo blackberry ripens early-to-mid season, producing high yields of very large fruit, making it perfect for fresh eating and baking.
